Detecting top tweets with Tweet Binder – #WandsReady
With the Twitter Advanced search you can also detect the top tweets in a hashtag. You just have to go to www.tweetbinder.com and type #Hashtag followed by min_retweets:NUMBER. You can put any number in that filter. It depends on what you consider as top tweets. For some campaigns 100 retweets may be enough but for some other maybe you need 1,000. Let’s see this with the example of #WandsReady. This hashtag was launched some days ago by the accounts surrounding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was used to promote the upcoming movie “The Crimes of Grindelwald“.
By typing that in the search box we will generate a report of the last 7 days containing only tweets that have had at least 1,000 retweets. On the advanced report or in the classify panel, the user can read those tweets. This is a very fast way of detecting not only top tweets but also influential users. As these reports can later be exported to an excel document the user obtains the complete list of contributors that have sent those tweets.
