How to calculate the Market Economic Value of your hashtag:

As we have seen before, the New Tweet Binder includes this new amazing metric. At Tweet Binder we have created a new algorithm that shows the economic value of a hashtag or term used on Twitter. First, we calculate the economic value of the users. Once we have that info, we calculate the market value of all the tweets and finally, we are going to sum all these values and calculate the market economic value of the hashtag.

Total economic value of your campaign: market value of all the tweets

Once we have calculated the value of each user and the market value of all the tweets that account has sent, we need to see how much this hashtag is worth in the market. To do that, we sum all the market value of all the tweets. This way we will know how much the hashtag is worth in the market. The total market value will be the sum of the value of each tweet. This final amount is what we would have needed to pay our users to get that amount of tweets with that number of impacts. As we said before, we take it in count the value of each tweet and user on pay-per-tweet online platforms and the average CPM of Twitter ads. Other important metrics

When we know the market value of the hashtag we can calculate three more important metrics. These are:

– Average user’s value: We calculate it by adding all the economic values of each user and dividing it by the number of contributors. This gives us the average economic influence of each user of our campaign.
– Average tweet’s value: It is calculated by summing the economic values of each tweet and dividing it by the number of tweets (original tweets and retweets). We will be able to see how important the tweets of our hashtag are.
– Contributors value: It is calculated by adding the economic value of each user in the report.
